The Location

Constructed in 2001, Mt. Penang Parklands at Kariong just south of Gosford is Australia's first purpose built outdoor festival and exhibition centre. Set in 156 hectares of grassed outdoor areas, tree lined avenues, heritage buildings and extensive native bushland, Mt. Penang Parklands is a delightful, semi-rural, multipurpose site featuring a five hectare Event Park specifically designed to host major outdoor festivals, shows and events.

The Festival has a successful track record over 21 years with up to 60,000 visitors expected to attend in 2008. The Festival is formally recognised as a major Australian annual event and enjoys wide supporting media coverage.

• The event park layout is such that all sites offer strong visibility to potential customers.
• As a non profit community run event, the Festival offers to both exhibitors and visitors the best value for money of any event of its kind in Australia. The Festival exhibitor site fees are amongst the lowest of comparable events.
• Due to its prime location (just one kilometre off the F3 freeway) the Festival is ideally located to tap into a market of over 5 million people from Sydney, the Hunter and the Central Coast, all of whom are within a comfortable drive of the Festival.
